Note the Artistic design combined with Dramatic Arched Curvature - as well as the 3-D Embossed effect. This Silver Tea Caddy, measures approximately 5" in height. This 800 Sterling T.R. Relic is of German Manufacture, with an Impressive Napoleonic Style Design. It is octagonal in shape. The bottom is marked 800 (Sterling), with a small crescent and crown, which is the silver mark denoting 1880's origin.

In the Historic White House Letter Mrs. Parks outlines the details of the fact that President Roosevelt owned and used this Beautiful Piece. Lillian Rogers Parks had worked at The White House for 30 years. Prior to that her Mother, Maggie Rogers was employed at The White House, as First Maid, for 30 years.
