STRIKING 10.25" DINNER PLATE FROM THE WHITE HOUSE SERVICE OF PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER
Friends of President and Mrs. Carter presented them an attractive Service from Lenox decorated with the Gold Presidential Seal and a "Carter Green" Border, surrounded in Intricate 3-D Gold Detail. The well known White House China Collector & Historian, Set Momjian, spearheaded the private fund raising for The Carter China project.

Although the beautiful Presidential China is Marked in Gold – "The White House – 1980", this White House China was actually completed after President Jimmy Carter and First lady Roslyn Carter left The White House in 1981, for Plains, Georgia.

Therefore, almost all of their, "Official" White House China was delivered to the Carter Presidential Library, in that no public funds had been expended in the design and purchase of this Service. However, it is believed that the Executive Mansion does have examples in their impressive White House China Collection.
